What's your shopping trip limit?

My heart began to race. Ideas started flying around my head. "I want to be her!" my mind screamed. These are sentiments I had when I found out a friend planned to spend $1500 on a day of shoe shopping! Now let me say, she's a lovely person and probably deserves $1.5K worth of new shoes but the thing that separates Nat from me is that she's got the courage to go out and spend that much. I'm envious of the huge shopping weekend that the girls have planned and I guess it's lucky I was too busy to join them. But even if I did, I'd probably come away light-handed (in comparison) and depressed.
This got me to thinking, I wonder what the most amount anyone (normal, we're not talking millionaire heiresses here) could spend on light shopping in a day. The most I've ever done was about 2 grand, but that was on a suit that happened to be 75% off for my lovely bf. But on shoes! WOW.
So wishful shoppers and practised ones how much have you spent in one shopping expedition? I'd love to find out. In the mean time... Happy shopping girls! I'm sure Brunswick shoe shops will love you as much as you love them!

The most I've spent in one shop is $700.
But $1.5k? Maybe on my wedding day!

I've spent $600 on one pair of shoes (they're Jimmy Choos, so that's reasonable), and about the same on a handbag (it's Prada and it was half price! how could I not buy it). So I've made some large shoes/bags purchases, but usually only one really big purchase and then some smaller ones. That way I don't spend excessive amounts of cash in a single go. It lessens my buyers remorse that way : )

It is however nice to hear of a guy with 13 pairs of shoes! No doubt you're one of the fashion-aware ones who stands out in a crowd.
And hey, if the shoes are on sale it would be a crime to pass them, or the delicious Prada handbag, up.
I think it's about time I grab some courage and let the money flow. An upcoming work (aka shopping) trip to HK in two weeks should do the trick!
