    Looking for an another income??

    October 31st 2006 06:49
Ever thought about Mystery Shopping?? Mystery shopping agencies throughout the world have plenty of assignments for people who don’t have the resources to take part in a regular full time job. Best of all if you simply don’t like the regular day job this could be your answer to freedom money if you play your cards right!

Mystery Shopping is a growing industry that has a vast amount of scope throughout Australia. It allows members of your community to go out and shop and be reimbursed for their efforts while evaluating the customer service of a particular retailer. The most attractive aspect of mystery shopping is the flexibility. One is able to devote as little or as much of their time as they like in order to complete an assignment, how easy is that??

What is the catch you say?? There is none. Large retailers need people like you and me to complete assignments for the benefit of the wider community. They have to improve their customer service so they can compete in environments that see new players dominate because of their service levels. How many times have you walked out of an establishment thinking, I wish he/she could have acknowledged my existence for half a second so I could feel like a valued customer. Now you have the chance to evaluate some of these organisations who actually value your existence.

How much could I possibly get paid?? If you do one assignment a year it really isn’t worth it. It could be worthwhile if you were to regularly participate in a number of different assignments throughout the month. It’s all about variety and flexibility. The more assignments you do the more you get paid and you don’t get trapped carrying out the same laborious tasks.

Unfortunately a lot of the community has a limited understanding of Mystery Shopping. I thought I could provide an insight into what to expect as a secret shopper. Shop and get paid it’s as simple as that! There are plenty of agencies who offer this type of work, one such company is GAPbuster Worldwide.

GAPbuster has been in existence for over 12 years and it has a number of assignments in Australia, Europe and North America. Bearing in mind that GAPbuster operates in over 35 countries so you have the peace of mind of knowing a large, reliable organisation will be reimbursing your hard work with quality dollars. So dare to be different and click on the following link for information on Mystery Shopping.

    Women and Uncovered Meat

    October 27th 2006 07:36
To suggest that a woman is a piece of uncovered meat is absolutely outlandish, not to mention the way women are being depicted on Youtube. Yes it’s free and it’s an open forum for all of us to see but some sick people out there believe they can use it to openly advertise their criminal acts for the rest of the world. This sort of behaviour is almost expected in countries like America where the media is absolutely crucifying every individual they possibly can but in Australia, who would of thought??

As an Australian I feel extremely ashamed to actually think that we are breeding these criminals in our backyards. I hope the guys that put that particular video on Youtube all get exactly what they deserve!! I’m talking 50 years to life, simply for having the audacity to do it, film it and than sell it. I hope everyone reading this is as angry as I am, for we should all be standing tall against what I call a total lack of respect for women.

To have a respected member of the Islamic community come out and talk about women in the way he did was another lack of respect and a total disregard for a woman’s standing in the community. Australia happens to be one of the places in the world where a woman can stand shoulder to shoulder with a male and not have to worry about religion, prejudice or any other social factors. He is living in a dream world a world that does not exist in this country.

    The most memorable sportsperson…

    October 23rd 2006 07:44
In an outstanding finish to an outstanding career, Michael Schumacher finished his last race fourth a field in a race where he had a puncture, went to the back of the field and showed his brilliance to come an incredible fourth. He’ll surely be remembered for his resilience, his composure and his methodical performances as the greatest to ever to partake in Formula One racing.

I’m sure there other sportsman that are also remembered and cherished for their deeds weather they be good or bad. I very much enjoyed John Mcenroe’s antics on a tennis court, as crazy as he was he was able to provide an added entertainment that others could not afford. You almost wanted the chair umpire to make a bad call so John would lose his temper and his racket.

Sometimes people are remembered for the most peculiar things and when you end up spending a Saturday night watching a game, you think what happened to him/her?? They were so much more entertaining…

    Stalinism or Hand me down??

    October 20th 2006 06:49
Over the last couple of weeks Kim Jong Il the North Korean leader has been put on the world map through his total disregard for the United Nations peace treaty and his over ambitious testing of nuclear weapons. Kim Jong Il is doing almost everything in his power to be a self proclaimed Dictator. Some have even mentioned him in the same breath as Joseph Stalin, the Russian dictator who created an empire and left the world with his own version of political power, better known as Stalinism.

I for one find it absurd that the media are so easily able to pronounce Kim Jong Il a dictator, when he has not been able to create his own empire but found his power through a hand me down process that was established by his father, Kim Il Sung. His father still remains President of the country although very much dead. Identifying how preposterous power and politics seem to be managed in a country that is craving world acceptance

    Drugs in Sport

    October 19th 2006 11:45
In a controversial opening to the recent ICC Champions Trophy, two players from Pakistan were sent home due to a positive drug test, one of those players being Shoaib Akthar a headline attraction in world cricket. Apart from the humiliation both players would have suffered at the hands of fans, the public and the media it again reflects another dark day in world sport.

This is the first time since Shane Warne’s infamous weight loss incident that players have been under scrutiny for drugs in cricket. For those who don’t know much about the game, cricket is a sport that does not require any special athletic ability to take to the field and be competitive. The only reason a player would ever need to turn to drugs would be for an injury, typically an aid in the recovery of that injury. Ideally specific measures and doctors would need to evaluate the type of drugs a player is consuming to ensure they conform to the appropriate guidelines

The Death of Plasma & LCD

    October 18th 2006 12:24
I wonder how many people out there have purchased a Plasma recently thinking it was there best buy yet. As refreshing as new visual technologies maybe it can dishearten consumers who have valiantly purchased the newest waive of technology only to be told that there’s something out there that is revolutionary. Usually the purchase of an LCD or Plasma is in the thousands of dollars making every bit of research critical in deciding which way to go.

Well I have some bad news for some who have already just purchased a Plasma and some refreshingly good news for those in the market to purchase a wide screen TV. The new range of TVs will be know as the Laser TV, a technology that is being hailed as revolutionary and likely to be the end of both current Plasma and LCD TVs. Laser technology is far more superior in that it can allow the eye to see about 90% of its full capacity on screen, in comparison current generation panels are only able to project 35% of what the human eye can visualise
